Board-a-Match*(1929-2006)
1929-1966 4-sessions
1967-2006 6-sessions
*Board-a-Match is a team of four
event that is essentially a continuous series of 2-tables
duplicates where on each board a team gets either 1, half,
or 0 matchpoints. B-a-M is generally considered the most
difficult form of competitive bridge. However, it is only
rarely played, having been supplanted by the popular swiss
team format around 1970.
